  1. I have never purchased jewellery online before. How can I be sure I will be happy with my purchase?

    We want you to be delighted with your purchase from Blue Dog Jewellery. As our jewellery is handmade by individuals using a wide range of interesting materials, each piece of jewellery is totally unique.

    Our photographer aims to reflect the true character of each jewellery item in the images used on this website. We photograph each piece of contemporary jewellery individually so that the image is as accurate as possible.

    However if you are not a happy bunny when you receive your item in the post, as the jewellery does not live up to your expectations, simply return it to us for a refund or exchange. For hygiene reasons we cannot extend this returns policy to earrings.

  2. How will my jewellery be sent to me?

    We want to ensure that your jewellery purchase arrives safely and in perfect condition. Your contemporary jewellery item will be sent to you beautifully wrapped in tissue paper in a solid protective box and will arrive in our signature blue jiffy bags with our distinctive Blue Dog logo on the front.

    We send all jewellery items by Royal Mail Special Delivery service within the UK to guarantee the safe arrival of your purchase. Please note that all goods will require a signature on delivery.

  3. Are the products pictured actual size?

    Our photographs aim to give as accurate a representation as possible of our jewellery but as computer monitors vary in size it is impossible to show an actual size image on our website. We describe each item of jewellery in as much detail as possible, but do not hesitate to contact our customer services team on customerservice@bluedogjewellery.com if you would like further information about a particular item.

  4. Do you sell gift vouchers?

    Blue Dog Jewellery sells gift vouchers in £20, £50 and £100 denominations, or multiples of these.

    Each voucher has a unique code and can be redeemed by entering the code at the checkout.

    Online gift vouchers are valid for a period of 3 months from date of purchase. They cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be redeemed online.

  5. I would like to send my purchase as I gift what should I do?

    I you wish to send your jewellery item as a gift we can arrange this for you. We can enclose a personal handwritten message if you wish and post your jewellery gift directly to the lucky recipient.

  6. If I order an item which is out of stock when can I expect it?

    We keep all of the items on our website in stock but if a jewellery item proves to be particularly popular we may need to reorder this item for you from our jewellery designer. If an item is out of stock we will make every effort to send the item to you as soon as possible but some items may take 4-6 weeks to be made by the jewellery designer. We will inform you by e-mail of the expected time of delivery when you place your order with us.

  7. What is your returns policy?

    If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please return it to us for a refund, credit note or exchange within 28 days. The jewellery must be returned in perfect condition, unused and in its original packaging. For hygiene reasons, we cannot extend this policy to earrings.   8. How can I be sure that my payment is secure?

    We process your credit or debit card payment via Lloyds TSB Cardnet services and Protx, a secure online transaction company used by major banks.

    Protx guarantees very high levels of internet security to our customers and is one of the safest providers of online payment around.

  9. If I place an order today when can I expect to receive my jewellery?

    We aim to dispatch all items in stock within 5 working days. We will send you an e-mail at the time of purchase confirming your order and will send you a further e-mail when the jewellery item has been posted. If you need a piece of jewellery for a particular date please let us know when you place your order and we will do our best to send it in time for your special occasion.

  10. I am buying a jewellery item for someone else, what if they don’t like the gift?

    It can be very difficult finding the perfect present for someone else, even if you are very confident of their taste in jewellery. If the recipient of your Blue Dog Jewellery gift is not happy, for whatever reason, we can offer you a refund or exchange up to 28 days after your purchase.

    Simply return the jewellery item to us by Special Delivery in its original condition using the packaging in which the item was sent. Please let us know whether you wish a refund or whether the recipient would like to exchange the item.

    Unfortunately for hygiene reasons, and in common with other jewellery retailers, we are unable to extend this returns policy to earrings. Just to play safe, you might be better choosing a different piece of jewellery or purchasing a gift voucher.
